This wonderful retreat is located on the eastside of Priest Lake, near the Indian Creek Campground. The knotty pine cabin boasts a roomy kitchen with large window looking out at the lake a dishwasher, microwave and espresso maker. In the Fall the wood stove heats up the cabin nicely. There is a king size bed and full bath. Step outside onto the lake facing deck and enjoy eating al fresco or watching the sunset. If what you are looking for is a place to relax and perhaps take a nap you might try the hammock among the trees. In the evening there is a large fire pit with bench seating around, a favorite place to roast s'mores. Just a few yards from the cabin is the "Bug's Ear", a wonderfully converted bunk house that has windows facing the lake and from which you can hear the water lapping the shore. The Bug's Ear has two full size beds, a full bath with a tub, washer and dryer and a small refrigerator for drinks. The private dock is a great place to start your day with a cup of coffee. The sun bathes the deck and the water is usually calm and crystal clear. A market umbrella provides shade for those wanting less sun, and the beach is a great place for children to play while parents look on. There are two Kayaks, a canoe and various float toys available for guests use. The camp store at nearby Indian Creek Campground is a nice little hike, or short drive, for basic provisions and great ice cream. The Leonard Paul store in Coolin has been around since 1906. It is about a 25 min drive and is an old fashioned general store with gift shop, sandwich shop and ice cream counter in addition to groceries, liquor and wine, and lattes. If you want a dinner out there are several restaurants around the lake, two of our favorites are Cavanaughs and Blue Diamond, or if you have a boat a quick trip across the lake to Elkins or Hills Resort for fine dining and huckleberry daiquiris. There are loads of trails for hiking with gorgeous vistas that can be reached by walking right out the cabin door or by car. During July and August you might discover some huckleberries along the path.

'Falling Water' is located right on the bank of the babbling Reeder Creek, within a couple of minutes walk through the woods to a beautiful sandy beach on pristine Priest Lake in northern Idaho. Priest Lake is a large, clear, deep water lake, 19 miles long, four miles wide, with numerous beaches, and famous for its beauty, tranquility, and incredible wildlife. It is located about 90 miles from Spokane airport, and the lake itself has two small airfields. The Priest Lake area offers superb water sports, fishing, hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and golfing. Several excellent restaurants are situated on the lake within easy boating or driving distance. Outside is an enormous deck with lounge chairs and barbeque. Twelve adults can dine at the custom built tables, with additional seating at the kitchen island. We built this home in 2019 as a vacation place for our family. Our favorite feature, besides being right on a beautiful beach and overlooking the lake, is the large downstairs great room, complete with a fireplace, large dining room table, and modern kitchen. Five bedrooms, three baths, and laundry room make this a great place for families. We also have a large covered porch out front where we spend most of our time when not out swimming, boating, hiking, sunning, or playing games. Additional amenities include kayaks, paddle board, dock/pier, fire pit, board games, puzzles, and an assortment of DVD's. The Frederick Lee Lakehouse was built as our family vacation home on Priest Lake in 2012. It is conveniently located walking distance to Coolin. It offers 3 levels featuring 4 cozy bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths and can easily accommodate 2 families. Priest Lake offers a variety of year-round recreational activities. It is a premier snowmobiling area in the state with abundant snow and an extensive system of groomed trails. Summer is beautiful, offering typical lake activities and challenging hikes to hidden mountain lakes here in the Selkirk’s. Our newly constructed cottage is just a few minutes’ walk or trail ride to your boat slip on the lake and beautiful sandy beach. The cottage sits on a large 1-acre lot with 3-hole frisbee golf, large fire pit and easy access to ATV, biking, riding, and numerous hiking trails. The cottage has access to the local community center and tennis courts. The cottage is a second story unit with no one below you. There are 2 bedrooms, each with queen sized beds and a large living room with a twin hide-a-bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee pot, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with water and ice in the door. The kitchen table seats 8 comfortably. Basic pantry items and condiments are available in case you leave home without them. Warm up in front of the gas fireplace and read a book, enjoy a Traeger barbecue on the covered patio or just relax and enjoy the wonderful mountain air.

If Priest Lake (the crown jewel of Idaho) is new to you…..it is a truly beautiful area, not overly-developed like some lakes can be, and beloved by many residents and repeat visitors. If you are looking for a lake place close to shopping and a busy nearby town, it is NOT the best fit. If you are looking to relax and get-away-from-it-all while surrounded by gorgeous nature, Priest Lake is the one for you! For those returning to Priest Lake as well as experiencing it for the first time........as many of you know, the rental market is fairly high demand, low supply. People do book summer rentals quite early. Our "cabin" is fairly new (built in 2008), charming, diligently kept up, very clean, and comfortable (two king beds, a queen bed, and the bunkbeds). Having three full bathrooms makes a world of difference when there is more than one family. You will see that our place is not exactly one of those lavish homes with granite countertops, brand new modern furniture, a TV in every room, air conditioning, and sandy beaches (naturally, they are priced accordingly). However, there are so many reasons that multiple repeat renters say our cabin is like "home," and keep coming back. The kitchen and living room are connected, making one spacious gathering room with fantastic lake views (and wood stove). There is also a game room with TV for DVD watching. Full deck off gathering room and master bedroom offers perfect spot for meals and enjoying views. We typically post availability about 12-15 months in advance. *Use of boat lift included (Please ask for boat size specifications and mooring options. The lift has no canopy by design. We recommend bringing your own boat cover). *Use of 2 kayaks, a canoe, and a pedal boat included. *Use of propane grill included. *Water mat ready to use. *Deep water and ladder at end of dock - perfect for diving. *Outside area off bunk room provides a spot for possible bocce ball, cornhole beanbag toss and other activities. *Free WiFi is available. *TV with DVD capability only (no cable). *Elkins resort/restaurant is a quick boat ride across the lake from the cabin. Hills is also a fairly quick boat ride away, and Cavanaugh's is 10 minutes by car, quicker by boat. *Trash pick-up (private service) included with rental (there is no public trash collection, so dump visits are required for many other Priest Lake rentals). *No need to bring drinking water as needed for many other Priest Lake rentals (we have a filtering system installed). The change-over day will be Fridays for 2021 rentals in late June, all of July, and several weeks in August for 7 night minimum reservations. Change-over days and nightly minimums vary in earlier June, late August, and September. Our family and several repeat renters believe our cabin is a wonderful place to visit. It usually books up early. However, we would like to note a few things that will help set your expectations just in case it is NOT a fit for your needs: * The shore along this area of the lake is rocky (not sandy). * There is NO air conditioning (although ceiling fans in master and great room, and tower fans throughout). * There are several stairs between the parking area and the cabin, as well as the cabin and the lake (please see pictures). * The restriction on the number of people occupying the cabin/property (12 max whether daytime or nighttime) and the no pets policy are strictly enforced and non-negotiable. The cabin is not suitable for parties or gatherings exceeding 12 people. * There is limited parking for only three vehicles. * There are quiet hours from 10pm - 9am in respect of our long-time lake neighbors. *Because we try to avoid adding the extra cost of a linen service to the rental rates, renters are responsible for washing/drying all beach towels and 2/3 of regular towels before departure. FLOOR LAYOUT (1950 sq. ft.) -- ideal for no more than 6 adults and no more than 6 children who fit comfy in bunk beds. In the evening, watch the sunset illuminating Chimney Rock and Mt. Roothaan (7235'). Cool nights then lower the temperature in your cabin quite nicely. Take your coffee out on the deck, dock, or screened porch and take in the morning sun. Great for swimming. No steep inclines or drop-offs here. There is a gradual slope to the water 30' from your new deck, continuing to the end of the dock where the depth is, give or take 5'. The water is very refreshing and is clear enough that you can always see your toes while treading water! The lake bottom is usually visible at a depth of around 15 feet. Your clean and comfortable two bedroom cabin includes: one full bed, two twin beds, and a futon with a thick mattress in the main room that is actually comfortable to sleep in. Someone in your group will get to wake up every morning to the inviting sound of the water lapping on shore just a few feet away. All linens, towels, pillows, and extra blankets are provided. The kitchen is grocery ready, and you can observe the beautiful lake and mountains while cooking and dining at the kitchen table. A gas barbecue is ready to fire up on the deck. HDTV flat screen with DVD player is in the living room. A small entry/utility area has an extra sink with a lighted mirror. The dock is shared with our north neighbor only, a super couple that we actually do not see often enough. Our south neighbor has their own dock and are great people also. Unlike a lot of other lakes around the northwest, most of the best areas to recreate on Priest Lake are open for the public to enjoy. Explore! Bring your boat. Venture south to enjoy some of the great resorts, putt around mostly public Baritoe and Kalispell Islands in your boat, go to the museum at Luby Bay, or take a trip to the town of Coolin and visit the Leonard Paul Store. Go north to check out some of the secluded bays and enjoy the many inviting beaches. Wet your fishing lines and troll for Kokanee or Mackinaw (lake trout) around the twin islands. Everyone needs to experience the taste of fresh, land-locked sockeye salmon (Kokanee). They are delicious. Two or three pound Macks can also be so very tasty, more so if prepared properly. Make it a day trip boating to the undeveloped (aside from a few primitive campsites and hiking trails) Upper Priest Lake Scenic Area. There is a fairly good chance you will see a moose or three wading about in the three mile thorofare to the upper lake. Stay slow and give them lots of space please. You can also drive to the head of the main lake to the trail head at Beaver Creek and walk the western shore. Hiking trails around the lake are numerous, and range from leisurely walks along the western shore, to more challenging mountain hikes that offer unbelievable panoramic views. Camera-up if you can. Kayak (not included) or float Granite Creek, located a block or so north of your cabin. Boat or not, there are many more things to see and do at Priest Lake that are not mentioned here. Did I say huckleberries? Water Frisbee? Sailboarding? (unfortunately, board not included). Simplicity has much of the charm an older cabin, but all of the upgrades through a recent full remodel to make you feel right at home with moder amenities. "Simplicity", has a "cabin feel" we all love, but it also has many of the modern and conveniences of a brand new home that we often miss when we're away from home. There is no need to totally "rough it" here. With a very spacious and open concept floor plan, Simplicity is ideal for larger groups and multiple families that want to get away together. The total square ft. (not including the Bunkhouse) is about 3200 sqft. The living space comes with 2 full kitchens, has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The design and size help accommodate larger groups with the idea of using this as one large home or with the option of two private, but connected, living spaces in one. There is one living space upstairs and one daylight living space below with a lock-off option. The cabin includes (2) complete kitchen setups. The areas can be enjoyed with full access or completely locked off for a bit of separation or privacy. There's a lot of natural light, some great outdoor spaces and a peek view of the lake. We're in Outlet Bay, located one block from the lake. You'll be only minutes to the water and a 5-mile drive to Hills Resort. Also, there is plenty of parking on the property, which can be rare at Priest Lake. We don't have moorage or a dock currently available, but we do have plenty of room for you to bring your boat to launch either right here one block from the lake or at one of the many other launches. Perfect place for water activities, bagging rays, campfires, stargazing and roasting marshmallows on any summer night. The lake and surrounding area provides ample opportunity for fishing, boating, golfing and hiking. There are several resorts located on Priest Lake that you can hit by car or boat from the cabin that offer an array of services and ambiances including fine and casual dining, boat and jet ski rentals, pickle ball and tennis courts. All linens are provided, and we expected that you'll wash and leave the towels/bedding/etc as you found them, as well as the cabin in general. There is maid service for a fee, please inquire if interested. Many renters prefer to bring sheets from home to save time when checking out vs doing a bunch laundry, as an option.

Our clean and comfortable cabin is a perfect getaway for couples or small families! The cabin is located in the Kalispell Bay area of Priest Lake, near two public day use areas and beaches, a vast array of hiking and mountain biking trails, a public boat launch, Priest Lake Marina for moorage or boat rentals, Hill's Resort, Priest Lake Golf course, restaurants, mountain biking, huckleberry picking and more. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Hiking trails are just out the back door, and if you are into mountain biking there are several trails from beginner to advanced accessible just by riding from the cabin! And in the winter, snowmobile and groomed cross country ski trails are easily accessible right from the cabin. If you want to keep your vehicle or gear indoors, the extra large insulated garage has plenty of space. Outdoor amenities include a deck, BBQ grill, and a fire pit. The property backs up to National Forest Service land. The cabin sleeps 6 with a queen bed in one room, a bunk bed and a single bed in another room, and a pullout coach in the living room. Although it sleeps 6, the cabin is under 800 sq ft so you'd be in close quarters. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishwasher, cookware, tupperware, flatware, silverware and cups/mugs/glasses. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, shower/tub and cabinets. The bathroom is clean and modern. The laundry room has a washer, dryer, some storage, and a water heater. Internet service is not available however 3G and 4G-LTE data are available through cellular carriers. Verizon has the best coverage around the area, with AT&T having lesser but usually good coverage too. T-Mobile users should be able to roam on AT&T's network. The tv can usually pick up a few PBS channels and several HD broadcast channels (abc, cbs, nbc, fox, etc). A DVD player is under the tv and you'll find a good selection of DVD's, mainly kids movies. DVD rentals are available nearby at the Tamarack store. For the cooler months, an easy-to-use propane heating stove warms the cabin with a push of a button! The bedrooms also have electric baseboard heaters. The cabin is on a community water and sewer system. All cleaning products are provided including dish and laundry soap. All bedding, blankets and bath towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels).

Included in your stay is a fully stocked 34 foot trailer with one private bedroom and a second sleeping quarter, trailer sleeps 4 total. Beautiful 40 foot enclosed deck to spend more time outside enjoying the filtered view of the lake and all nature has to offer. Our home is ready for your family's memories to be made! We have 2400sq feet with 3 bedrooms 2.5 bath new kitchen including dishwasher (why wash dishes on vacation?). This cabin is ready to help you make your families Priest lake memories! Surrounded by towering pines and fresh air you will immediately feel relaxed. Located in quiet 3 waters community, which is a private peaceful area with a beautiful community sandy beach with picnic table and fire pit. Three waters is at the southwest end of the lake (on the river) where priest river and the lake connect; just off of outlet bay road. Your BRAND NEW boat slip is just a few steps away (can fit max of 23 foot boat). Don't pay waterfront prices when you can boat right around the corner and you are on Priest Lake. ATV and snowmobile trails are literally across the road from our home for some land adventures too! The Priest Lake golf course is just a few more minutes up the highway along with the Hills resort, my personal favorite for some Huckleberry cocktails! Besides the breathtaking lake there are so many fun memories to be made elsewhere. The natural rock slides are an easy hike and a once in a lifetime experience. The hiking around this area is amazing and you can easily see all the way to Canada and Montana on a clear day. You can even hike to the crazy "shoe tree" where for some reason hundreds of shoes have been hung for years. Our little "Heels up Haven" is located right at the bottom of the lake where Priest River begins so there is some great fishing, and kayaking without have to look out for boaters going a little to fast, or you can tube for a classic summer time past time down the river. We have furnished our cabin with families in mind and have all sorts of fun for all ages after a day of outdoor fun. We have legos for the little ones, board games for the competitive ones, a flat screen with lots of movies to choose from, and a wide variety of books to read. If you over do it and are a little sore we even have a massage chair waiting for you!
